Republic Polytechnic's Archery Club 2010
Me helping Mandy with her bow because at the end of the day, everybody's mentally drained & they need all the help & support they can get from their teammates. It has been a grueling two days for all the Archers in RP during this NUS Indoor Competition. As usual & as a senior & retired-archer, I was present to give them all the support they need & supervise them but as I expected, my supervision wasn't needed at all after seeing how well off they already are, I'm very proud of their progress & what they've become. This will be the last farewell & presence that I'll be making to the club. ^^

Congratulations to Republic Polytechnic's archers for bringing home 1 Bronze, 2 Silver & 1 Gold out of the many categories available.

Congrats to Eugene Lim, Julian & Desmond for their team event & winning Gold! Julian earlier on already gotten a Bronze for the Overall Most Outstanding Archer as well. Nice!

Congrats to Eugene Chiam aka Team Manager, Elwin & Nicholas for their Silver in another team event.


P.S. Farewell to you guys & I'm proud of you. Will leave you guys on your own now. Take care, especially the year-ones & raise them to be the best of the best just like all of us! If you don't, don't make me interfere. Haha, just kidding. You're all in good hands. Will miss you guys like crazy when all that's left are memories. Have fun, stay strong & do RP proud! This is my goodbye.

Question: Define Love.

Answer: Everyone has their own definition of LOVE. For me, i follow by this formula, "Me + You = ♥ It's that simple." All you need is for BOTH parties to actually like/show interest in each other & things can start off from there with little chats, small talks & get interested in one another more. Then, if the sight of him/her being with another guy/gal hurts you or makes you jealous, you can't deny that you've got feelings for him/her. & if his/her presence affects you and/or you start missing him/her everyday, wishing that he/she was by your side & would be yours, than you definitely have been struck by Cupid's Arrow, meaning, you're in love~~~ As for me, love is what keeps us sane & keeps us going, it gives us a comforting feeling in life that we're not alone coz there'll always be someone by your side through the ups & the downs that you know you can count on & will never abandon you. It's that reassuring feeling that keeps you from going depressed or see life pointless. At least now, you have someone to live for, someone to die for. Love means that we've gotta have feelings, & if someone has feelings, it means that they're still human. Love is not just uncontrollable totesteron hormones pumping in our body, but love is just that little piece of heaven. Enough is enough. I've no idea why you had a sudden outburst about me today, but that's the last straw of tolerating all this by always being the nice one apologizing, saying sorry and agreeing to whatever it is you mention or want. All I wanted was for you to be happy but all of a sudden, you just had to say so much things about me, out of the blue for who knows what reason. Congratulations, you've just succeeded in telling the whole world you hate me & what a liar i am just like what you accused me of suddenly in the middle of the day when i didn't even say anything about you. In fact, we didn't even speak to each other.

But i get it now, it's all a misunderstanding. For some reason, you thought I tweeted about you. Well, you're highly mistaken. And to think that i was even so nice as to worry & ask you what was going on & see if you're okay unknowingly when all along, you were tweeting about me. Haha!! All this while, i thought everything was okay... WE were okay & that you'd never even say stuff like that about me, never thought that you'd be that kind, ever. Well, you've just proved me wrong. And since you put it that way, if whatever i tweeted affected you so much & you matched the description of the person that i tweeted about (which wasn't about you at all in the first place), than i think you probably should think about what i said & put yourself in others' shoes!

I'm sorry I'm being harsh now, but you're way too much this time, really. First of all, you ASSUMED i was tweeting about you (which obviously i wasn't if not, i would've already put ur name there since i've got u on Twitter), second of all, you straight away replied to my tweets with:

1)Whatever it is, i really do hope that i didn't get to know u from the start where u start to sweet talk to ppl.
That's what happens when guys be nice to girls, they'll think we're sweet-talking them, especially to girls who never had a guy before, let alone any experience. I was really happy that I met you but now that you put it that way, i really wished that i didn't get to know you from the start either!

2)and i'm one of them to fall into ur trap too deeply. well, just fuck off now! I HATE YOU EVER!
First of all, you fell for me, so dun u dare put the blame on me like i had anything to do with it! That line itself tells me already that you're referring to me & that whatever you're talking about, you're talking about me. I was just a regular customer in an arcade who caught your attention. Nothing more, nothing less. When you wanted me, i gave myself to you, when you wanted time, i gave you time alone as requested, when you wanted us to part, i agreed to it without questioning you as long it is what you wanted. Well now you want me to "FUCK OFF", right? SURE! i'll gladly do so! i'll FUCK OFF from your life. Thanks for using such strong words that already showed me that you hate me without needing you even having to say you do. And oh yeah, look! You said it first that you hate me! When i didn't even say a single thing about you. Thanks alot!

I'm only trying to teach someone a lesson but the lesson can only be learned by him/her on their own. And if they do feel the hurt, it means that whatever i said was right & that they're guilty of it. If you felt hurt, than i dunno what to say coz like i said earlier, i wasn't tweeting about you in the first place. -_-

i have no idea what's in ur mind either. Suddenly tweeting about me out of hatred & despise just bcoz you thot i was talking about you when in fact, i wasn't! Go ahead and believe whatever rumours you've heard about me if you wanna be a victim of fiction. Even when you were still attached, you chose to believe others instead of your own boyfriend or even ask him to clarify such stuff. If you ask any couple out there, they would gladly answer that they believe each other's words more than anyone else. That's the problem with you, you don't talk, but instead, you choose to assume & judge based on your assumptions, which in the first place could easily just turn out to be false accusations. Even when we were quarreling, i approached you countless times to talk but all you wanted was time alone & to ignore & not reply my texts and so i really gave you your time alone. Even then, you weren't happy. Even when you were having this sudden outburst just now, i asked what's wrong & you didn't reply. If you had only replied or TALKed, than i could've just told you that i wasn't tweeting about you & all this misunderstanding & mess could be avoided. I don't even think that this is in a proper sentence structure that makes sense. Check your vocabulary & write something that people can actually understand when reading it. Besides, have you ever met a real gentleman? I highly doubt so.

This time, I really can't take it anymore. I'm not just gonna stand by the side and take everything you throw at me like last time. This is all just a case of mistaken identity. All because you thought I was tweeting about you when I wasn't. It's obvious when you read this, you know that I'm talking about YOU! At least, now I've seen the bad-side of you & your true colours. The last time your last post, you wrote a long post about me, saying all those stuff. I didn't even said a single word & accepted everything, the good, the bad, the stuff that were true & even the stuff that weren't true. I did nothing but just stand at the side & took everything that you said & didn't even say a single word about it. This time, i ain't gonna do that anymore. I'm not gonna let someone think that they're always right all the time when they know nothing about what they're saying! Yes, i do know by writing & saying all these stuff, I'm hurting you. As you likely know, Apple CEO Steve Jobs officially unveiled the iPhone 4 at the company’s Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) on Monday — though the announcement was a bit anticlimactic given the highly-publicized prototype leak back in April but the upcoming smartphone did manage to wow the crowds, thanks to some mighty impressive specs.

Specifically, major new features of the redesigned iPhone include a much better camera and the ability to shoot HD video; a front-facing camera, too, for live video calling over Wi-Fi; and a 3.5-inch display with four times the resolution of the existing iPhone 3GS screen. And at just 9.3mm thick, Jobs also calls the iPhone 4 “the thinnest smartphone on the planet.”

But what does the iPhone 4 mean for gamers, you ask?

Aside from the greatly improved screen, now capable of showing an incredible 326 dots per inch (dpi), Apple has squeezed a three-axis gyroscope into the device, allowing the smartphone “to detect pitch, yaw and roll, plus rotation around gravity,” explains Jobs. This technology works alongside the previously available accelerometer to deliver true six-axis motion-sensing.

Motion-sensing is already a big part of the experience in many games — such as titling the device left and right to control a race car — but adding a gyroscope takes it to the next level. To demonstrate the technology, Jobs played the classic game of Jenga by tilting the iPhone 4 forward, back and side-to-side, as well as moving around the stage, and the pile of wooden pieces responded in real-time, and with gravitational force.

Also relevant to gamers is the bigger and better battery in the iPhone 4 (now with 40 per cent more talk time compared to the iPhone 3G S), which should yield longer play between charges.

A new folders system in the operating system will let you group similar apps by type and a relevant name is automatically given to the selected apps (such as “Games”). The new multi-tasking feature means gamers might be able to do things like video chat with a friend in a small window on the iPhone while playing a game of, say, backgammon with them online at the same time.

The iPhone 4 will be out in Canada in late July. While cost for the smartphone has not been confirmed, Canada usually follows suit with the U.S. on iPhone pricing; therefore, expect the 16GB model to be $199 and the 32GB model to cost $299, with carrier commitment; Rogers, Bell Mobility and Telus have all confirmed they’ll be carrying the device, with preorders starting in a couple of weeks.

That's all I did today with Cassy & Josephine. Went to Asiasoft office in the afternoon to collect something as well as a briefing. After that, met Jian Wen & his girlfriend, Joey, for a little while coz it's rare that i get to meet my friends who stays in the East, so we met whenever anyone of us was in the area & was just dropping by. Met back up with Cassy & Josephine after that to continue our shopping-spree! Pay's coming soon & we're all gonna go shopping together yet again when it arrives, yes!

I gotta attend an IBM Certificate Presentation Ceremony tomorrow back at Republic Polytechnic in the morning. Hope I'm not the only one that turns up for it, lol! There's a reception after that, a buffet, but I doubt I'll eat much, maybe I'll just take a few pictures with the other awardees & off I go to attend the LAST DAY of Agnes. b's sales at Isetan Orchard! Hoping that I'd be able to find something that's worth the money spending on at a steal! Meeting up for Sakae Sushi lunch-buffet after that with Cassy & Josephine so I gotta shop FAST! :D

On a side-note, World Cyber Games (WCG) is arriving in two weeks' time! Excited much! June is a month full of activities!!!

P.S. To me, it's all just excuses cause of something that he's keeping inside. Maybe it's girls? It's always about girls. -_- Oh well, not gonna bother much about it. Just wanna continue working with peaceful colleagues. Cheers~
