Title : Pirates of the Caribbean : At World's End

Will Turner (Orlando Bloom), Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) are allied with Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) in a desperate quest to free Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) from his mind-bending trap in Davy Jones' locker, while the terrifying ghost ship, The Flying Dutchman and Davy Jones, under the control of the East India Trading Company, wreaks havoc across the Seven Seas. Navigating through treachery, betrayal and wild waters, they must forge their way to exotic Singapore and confront the cunning Chinese Pirate Sao Feng (Chow Yun-Fat). Now headed beyond the very ends of the earth, each must ultimately choose a side in a final, titanic battle, as not only their lives and fortunes, but the entire future of the freedom-loving Pirate way, hangs in the balance.

Watched the final installment of Pirates of the Caribbean today and it was great!!! A few lame parts but it was still great!!! Went for the 11.30pm show and it ended at around 2 plus! For those who hadn't follow the storyline and are planning to watch this movie, please watch the second movie, Dead Man's Chest, first before attempting to watch this movie to better understand what's going on. The first movie isn't as important, so it's okay if you didn't watch it. For some, the storyline may be a little too complex to follow, including the unfamiliar names and all but as for me, I don't think it was a problem at all. Watch it, it's fabulous, not forgetting the well-composed background music and orchestra. I'm giving it a 4.7 out of 5 thumbs up. And please do stay til after the credits. =)

Title : Basketball Outing

Today had lots of great fun!!! Class went well and played Basketball later as planned at RP’s basketball court. A pity some couldn’t come as they had something on but it was still fun. As usual, China students are outstanding when playing basketball, luckily they were in my team, but we still lost when we played with another class’ team. It’s okay because it’s been a long time since we played Basketball anyways. However, when we played against each other, as an internal class match, my team dominated the opposing team 3 straight matches of 11 points. Haha. Guess I still got it in me. Played til 7.45pm and we took off. First was street-soccer, now it’s basketball. What am I gonna think of next? Haha. Any feedbacks or suggestions, please send them in. Gonna organize more of these sports outings soon. Watch out for them! =)

Title : SIT Gathering (Siloso Beach, Sentosa)

SIT (School of Infocommunications Technology) Gathering today at Siloso Beach Sentosa was fun!!! Exactly what I needed. A break from my problems and responsibilities and just have lots and lots of fun forgetting anything I need to remember. It's great doing stuff not as the organizer for once. The second-year seniors really do know how to have a blast.

Met at Harbour Front MRT station in the morning at 8.30am. A lot of people were late, even the second-years and we set off at 11am later on after having breakfast at McDonalds. Around 30 of us first and second years. Went there by the new monorail. First thing we did when we arrived was to choose the first blood. We did and tossed him into the sea. What a splash! The rest were given a choice of either doing it the easy way or the hard way. It was definitely fun because a number of them wanted to do it the hard way and soon enough, we saw a couple of bodies flying into the sea. Haha. Played beach soccer, basketball at a court near there, dodgeball, swam, frisbee, beach volleyball and card games involving dares & forfeits.

Got sunburnt at the end of the day, I'll recover soon. Left for dinner at 7.00pm. Went for steamboat. Delicious and full, we went home. Got home at 11.15pm. Tired...

Title : Spiderman 3

Went to register for my Archery IG* (Interest Group) today after class. In RP, CCAs are called IGs. They taught us how to string* a bow. (term used in archery to put together a bow) Quite interesting actually, didn't know a bow would have so many parts and steps for assembly. Looking forward to training next week.

Later, met my class pals at the cafe and went to the fun fair beside Causeway Point. It's been a long time since i went to one or even took the rides. After walking around, we decided to take a ride, 5 of us in total. (Zai Qiang, Xue Fang, Shue Wei, Zeyda and me!) We took the ride that spins round and round. Damn it was long, minimum 10 minutes or more! I was soo dizzy after it ended that i felt like puking but heck, it was fun! Been a long time since i felt adrenaline rushing through my veins!! We went off after that as one ride was more than enough for us to handle. Haha!!



Peter Parker has finally found the balance he's longed for between his love for Mary Jane Watson and his responsibilities as Spider-Man. The city of New York and it's citizens are at last coming around and appreciating everything he has done as his crime-fighting alter ego, and Peter is in the running for a staff job at the Daily Bugle. However, everything Peter has worked for is about to unravel. Flint Marko, while fleeing prison, is caught in an accident that displaces molecules and is transformed into the Sandman, a new super villain who is able to change his body into any shape of sand he sees fit. When Peter learns of a connection between The Sandman and the murder of his Uncle Ben, he will stop at nothing as Spider-Man to capture him. But before Peter can do so he discovers a mysterious black substance has turned his suit black, and has brought forth a darker side of Parker and Spidey nobody has seen before. Peter begins to give into this new dark personality, starts to abandon the ones he loves the most and in turn his best friend Harry Osborn takes up his late father's mantle as The New Goblin. Quickly Parker begins a new romance with his lab partner, the beautiful Gwen Stacy but in doing so Peter sets off a rival Bugle photographer, a troubled young man by the name of Eddie Brock who is obsessed with Stacy. Little does Peter know the black substance has its sights set on Eddie else as well. Brock is turned into Venom, an arch-foe that mirrors everything Spider-Man can do. Peter is forced to become the strong-willed hero he has forgotten about if he hopes to defeat his greatest threat yet.

Met my family later that day at 8.30pm to watch Spiderman 3. Hmm, I'd prefer more scenes of Venom rather than sandman. However, the storyline was great, quite unexpected things happened actually. Peter Parker's, uncle's history was much more clearer now. It's much more hilarious in this movie than the previous installments. Looking forward to Spiderman 4!!!

Title : Street Soccer Outing

Today was any other usual day til after school. Me and my class finally played street-soccer at a nearby street soccer court near campus after days of planning. To my surprise, I saw my cousin Firdaus also playing there at that very instant, and he has his Chemistry mid-year exams the next day! Wonder if he’ll be alright... Anyways, coincidentally, we bumped into each other and I saw his team play and lost and my team played and also lost, haha. W never did play against each other’s team which I was hoping for but, it’s okay. It’s the first time my class and I played soccer together, although my class are not really good at it as we had only a few good players, we enjoyed playing it and just wanted to have fun. Played til 8pm, way over the previous planned timing of 7pm to take off, haha. Guess it’s hard to be aware of the surroundings when you’re having fun! =)
