Time : 11:58 PM Title : Just another bad day aftermath Woke up at 2pm today, woke up earlier than the 3pm I predicted I would. Ate garlic-bread with corned-beef for lunch, dunno why I'm having such a craving for Garlic Bread these days. I'm speaking of those that you spread the garlic spread on thin slices of bread and bake them in the toaster or oven til they turn crispy and golden and the smell just fills the whole entire kitchen. Yum! Was supposed to go to my cousin's house today but decided not to go cause was too busy researching and trying to think of a topic to write for my Professional Profiling (PP) project scope which deadline is 7th May 2008. Had McDonalds for dinner greatfully bought by my older brother, thanks! Just when I was busily working on my PP, a certain someone whom I haven't spoken to in a long time chatted with me on MSN, hehe! Okay, I dunno why I'm so happy, haha! Put all my work aside and chat and chat. Abscence makes the heart grow fonder... Okay, I dunno what I'm typing, haha! Gotta go! Gotta sleep early tonight and wake up early for school tomorrow! Made a bet with Azirah to see who would arrive earlier to school! I gotta treat her to lunch if I lose... Okay, okay, it's a silly bet, we do small things that are silly but fun to fill up our lives every now and then, alright... I don't know... I feel bad making her treat me if I win... Maybe I should lose on purpose...? Well, I'll make up my mind tomorow. See ya!

Time : 10:31 PM Title : Just another bad day... No matter how high your rank is, how heavy the responsibility you have a role in your school, how much effort you have to put in the committee showing how responsible you are, how high your post is in a company showing your leadership qualities, no matter how much you've tried to be seen as trustworhty to others, you can never be a grown-up when you have over-compulsive and control-istic parents that don't give you the treatment you want and/or deserve. Today was a hell of a day for me as things just go from bad to worst. Other than coming up with a flu and a prolonged cough, plans for the day were ruined by "poeple", den was supposed to shop at NewUrbanMale (NUM) for a pair of Braziliano Praio for myself as well as shop for a birthday gift for a friend and yes, plans got cancelled again just because of "people"... Later on, by then mood was spoiled and was freaking pissed, so ended up cooped up in the boring house with nothing to do and no one to talk to, who would care anyways right... Slept throughout the entire afternoon to the evening before waking up to find myself watching the Manchester United Vs. Chelsea match at 7.30pm and boy was it a heart-grunching match.
Ballack scored with a header takeing the lead of 1-0 but Rooney scored later on at the 55th minute for the equalizer of 1-1 but with only 5 minutes to go, Micheal Carrick was fouled for a handball at the 85th minute, giving Chelsea a penalty kick. Nicely taken by Micheal Ballack yet again, the blues settled for a 2-1 win over Manchester United and the race for the cup is still on with only 2 games for each team to play while their current points on the league table are level-ed. Losing hope and faith by the day~ Friends are precious, keep them close... They come and go in all shapes and sizes... The more the merrier coz it never hurts to have more... Care for others as others have cared for you... Don't use them for what they have and neglect them for whatever's worth... Treat others fairly as others treat you... The day that you leave them, is the day that they leave you...

Time : 11:59 PM Title : Going out on a wednesday as usual  Okay, just being random here, I almost poured coke into my cereal this morning when having breakfast instead of milk while I was daydreaming and thinking of something. Both the packaging had red-labels, alright!! Okay, enough of that! Hahaha! Anyways, had to meet a few interviewees today for a part-time job in September which I have available slots for. Later, met Azirah, Jie Ying, Emily, Melissa, Dai Yu and Sherman at Downtown East for dinner and a movie. The new Mall they're building at Downtown East is half completed already, it's really gonna attract and pull in the crowds once it's officially opened. Did I mention that it may be 24-hours? Really awesome for those who have chalets there at Downtown East and have nothing better to do at night and decides to go bowling, a movie or a nice midnight game of pool. The Cathay Cineplex there was already completed so we decided to give it a try and it really lives up to Cathay's standard just like any Cathay Cineplex. After the movie, we parted separate ways and went home. Not gonna go into much detail regarding today's happenings. Anyways, movie review time!! The movie we watched was The Forbidden Kingdom. Two of the world's best on-screen martial artists collided. It was like clash of the titans when you have Jet Li facing off with Jackie Chan. I'm sure they had lots of fun making this movie together on the set. The action and fight-scenes were as always great with these two guys, bet they were the ones who co-ordinated the fight scenes too. The movie was like a prequel to the chinese hit-series Journey To The West. The movie was like Eminem learning how to eat with chopsticks...? I mean the most weird part would be the chinese-style told story and backgrounds with an English-voiceover, like watching Death Note (originally in Japanese) but with an American-English dub. That was the only thing that bothered me about the movie coause the movie was shot first with voice-acting done after the whole movie. Other than that, it was also quite a hilarious movie. My favourite line which I still can't forget from the movie was, "You have came through the gate of No Gate...". Hmm... Who wouldn't feel envy, jealousy, hurt and pain after such an experience, I understand... but no matter how hard it is to take, you just gotta live with it cause there's nothing you can do. Life goes on~

Time : 11:56 PM Title : Badminton Try-outs Had badminton try-outs today for the school team. Surprisingly but expectedly, I breezed through the try-outs and got in to the school team. Looks like my 4 years of hard training in secondary school paid off. Anyways, guess what? I didn't wanna join! Hahaha! Really, I was only there for fun and testing the waters, nothing more, nothing less, I really had no intention of joining the school team cause I don't intend to re-live those days of picking up hundreds of shuttle-cocks, haha! Although getting the Team Republic jacket would have been cool! Haha!! Nah, it's just that it would mean that I had to go home perspiring and tired and late 3 times a week which I'm sure I would rather do other things with that time than playing badminton cause in sports, I'm just looking out for new challenges, that's all. The suspence, excitement and adrenaline which courses through my veins whenever I compete with anyone in anything. That's the feeling which I always lust for. Anyways, I'll always play badminton every once in a while when I have the free time with my friends anyways, so yeah... Need to work out every once in a while. Was already late like 10pm at that time and I was really tired and I doubt foodcourt had anything else to eat, my friends decided to go to the coffee shop nearby, I was too tired so went home straight with year oen Jeff, Max, Nicholas, Jie Ying, Eugene, Pei Ling, Yew Mun and Emily. Anyways, staying up to watch tonight's Champion's League match between Chelsea and Liverpool at 2.30am!!!
Didn't meet up much today cause was busy and had to rush off after class. =(

Time : 11:58 PM Title : Another day out with my friends! 
Went out today with my usual friends! Definitely a great oppurtunity to get my mind off things. Was supposed to meet them at City Hall MRT station at 2pm but was so tired that I only woke up at 1pm and set off to meet a friend, Yew Mun, another late guy whom I had to wait til 4.15pm to meet him and finally arrived and met up with the rest at Marina Square at 5pm... Went to play pool for a little while, didn't play long. I won my match of course!! Went bowling soon after that, played 2 games each, Me, Melvin, Leon, Aloius, Nicholas and Jeff. Melvin was the top leader for both games while i too maintained second place for both games. What can I say, I haven't lost touch! Anyways, as usual when playing games with me and my friends, we always have a twist to every game. In both games, if anyone of us did not manage to get a single strike, they would be "flicked" on their forehead by each and every one of us who did manage to get a strike. Getting a strike was no problem at all for me and I was safe! However, the unlucky ones were Leon, Nicholas and Jeff. At the end, Alouis made a very stupid bet although he was already safe, if he couldn't strike the last ball, he would let everyone of us "flick" him 7 times each. Unfortunately for his bravery, he had to suffer the consequences. Hahaha!! Finished the game and went for a toilet break. Again, joker Alouis went off somewhere all alone while we went to the toilet. We waited for him outside the toilet thinking he was still in there when he wasn't. By the time we realized and wanted to contact him, better still, his handphone was in the bag of one of my friends that was with us. So we just tried our luck to walk around and hopefully bump into him and true enough, we did! Went to eat dinner together at the foodcourt. Jie Ying went home first and didn't join us for dinner as she had a curfew. Later, shared a desert with Melissa, Yam Paste With Ice, although I'm not the Yam-liking type, truthfully enough, it was quite nice!! It was half past nine, so after dinner, the rest, Jeff, Leon, Alouis, Nicholas, Yew Mun, Pei Ling, Serene and Melissa, went over to Melvin's house to ton there for the Manchester United Match tonight at 12am and play mahjong. While walking to the MRT station, we stopped by New Urban Male for a while and I saw the brown-base with white straps Braziliano Praia Beatles that I've set my eyes on for quite some time! Maybe gonna finally buy it next week together with Melissa who also wanted to get a pair and since my friend works there, can get staff-discount, woohoo!!! Anyone wants to follow us go shopping next week?? Was thinking of going to Ministry Of Sound (MOS) since it was free-entry for tertiary-students today but decided to head back home instead cause wasn't in the mood for clubbing tonight and I remembered that Yvonne who was working at Takashimaya in town nearby finished work at 10pm today, so decided to pick her up from work and take the train home together since it was along the way. Had a dream about _ _ _ _ _ _ again last night... Dunno what it was supposed to mean but it was a nice dream... Time : 11:52 PM Title : SLA Fiesta (last day) 
Today was the last day of the SLA fiesta! It's time to pack up! Everyone was glad that it was over and I'm sure that many IGs have recruited over a hundred passionate year ones wanting to be actively be involved in whatever IG they've joined but as we all (year-twos) know that by the end of the year, each and every single IG will end up with less than half the number of students they recruited in the beginning. LoL! Anyways, missed my friday prayers today cause needed to do work for my team. Our module today was Web-Multimedia and I had to design and encode 5 web-pages while my team just compile them... Got it done in time and presentation was a drag as it was a boring day... Headed home first together with Leon and Azirah while the rest stayed and slacked in school.  Me & Yvonne

Time : 11:59 PM Title : SLA Fiesta Been going home late ever since the start of school... Been doing/finishing up my work at school almost everyday and slack with my pals til late before going for dinner together and heading back home. Things are always new and fun with them. ^^ I just don't feel like going home early anymore to all the responsibilities that awaits me as soon as I step into the house... You'll understand when you do the most for the house when poeple aren't around and still gets all the blame for even the slightest mistake... Sick and tired of people not being appreciative of what people already did for them and still expect more... And when I say "people", I really mean everyone... Besides, there's nothing to do at home too... Rarely even watch the television these days... Anyways, chilling out at school is nice. If you stare by the school pond in the evening, it really is a good place to do some thinking.
Had no class today so I was able to sleep throughout the morning and wake up late. Woo!! ^^ Had Student Life Activities (SLA) Fiesta today! The SLA Fiesta is when each Interest Group (IG) is given the chance to showcase their talents and achievements so as to recruit the new year one students who have just entered Republic Polytechnic (RP) to join. (in RP we call CCA as IG) SLA Fiesta will be on for another 2 more days. It sure was tiring as I had... Well... Like FOUR IGs to promote and recruit people to join!! Had to shout and scream here and there for a while, haha. Archery IG, Cypher Club, Gaming.RP and my unofficial IG, Anime.RP. After half of the day was over, I was already out cold so ended up playing badminton at the Badminton IG's booth and Floorball at the mini-floorball court set up by the Floorball IG. Had lots of fun today although it sure was tiring. Went for dinner at Banquet at Causeway Point in the evening but didn't eat cause I'm saving up money for... Ermmm... The future??? Haha... That is, if I even have a future... Anyways I already had dinner waiting for me at home so yeah... Melvin was kind enough to treat some of us deserts, so what the heck!? He's treating, so why not order!? Hehehe!! I had Ice Kacang, a traditional malay desert, which I have not eaten in like years ever since the discovery of ice-cream!! Haha!! Wanted to try something new, so bought the Durian Ice Kacang instead and I sincerely apologize to Azirah who doesn't like durians and couldn't stand the smell but was seating closeby... I didn't know... Really am sorry... Didn't play any of our usual forfeit-games today as everyone was already so tired. Thank god! Went to the arcade later to have abit of fun and headed back home soon after that. Just when I was back to my good old self... Things just have to happen... It was already expected, just didn't think it would hit me this hard... Actions speak louder than words but at the current situation, it cannot be applied... The timing too, isn't right yet... After today, it just became even harder for it to come by... All that is left, is hope...

Time : 11:59 PM Title : Sentosa Outing '08 
It was another year of SIT Cypher Camp's retreat at Sentosa!! What can I say, it has become our tradition! Haha! We had lots of great fun today at Siloso beach!! Around 50 of us in total!!! Woo! I have to admit, Singapore's beaches aren't really that clean or nice but well, we don't really have a choice now do we? Haha!! Beach volleyball, basketball at the nearby court, forfeit-games, card games, water-bombs and even throwing eggs was present today! Damn Melvin brought one whole carton of eggs!! He is so dead! Got thrown into the sea later on! Muahahaha!! Actually, each and every one of us got thrown inside later on, hahaha!! One by one got wet! Anybody who seems so dry would definitely get thrown into the sea by me and my friends! Hehehe!! Had tug-of-war matches against other schools which we met at the beach such as Singapore Polytechnic (SP) and Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP). We won of course!! RP Rocks!!! As usual, our forfeit-games involved doing DISGUSTING forfeits! My bad luck today was to lick across from one nipple to another! It's a guy's of course! Man it was GROSS!! Later on, we headed to Cafe Del Mar for the Foam Party!!! First 100 bikini-babes spotted were given free drinks on the house! Couple of my friends got it and we had a blast enjoying ourselves! Of course, I didn't drink no matter how tempting it was... I'm 18 this year but not 18 yet... They checked my ID! Shit!! I was denied entry, but how I still managed to get in??? Haha, it's a trade-secret! =D After heading for the showers, I found out something new about a little miss "someone". Nothing big really just that I've never noticed it before. We then went back to Vivo City for dinner, haven't had Long John Silver's since a very long time ago! Gave a treat to dear Azirah and lil Melissa! Chatted abit after that before all of us headed back home as it was already quite late at night and everyone was tired. Wanted to ton over at a friend's place but I'm sure the people at home would have made a real fuss out of it... I'm speechless nowadays... I dunno why... Am I losing my touch...? Or just a wave of emotions...? Although the time we spent together was like bits and pieces, when pieced together, they become memorable ones to be cherished~  Us on the tram on the way to Siloso Beach!

Time : 11:59 PM Title : Just Another Day At School Today, was just another day at school. Met up with my pals for lunch breaks and after school just like any other day. After eating, we played some card-games and games involving forfeits while we await the Touch-Rugby friendly match RP was gonna have later on at around 8pm but started at 8.30-8.45pm as the other schools were late. Wasn't really feeling well today... Unsure of why... At least some people noticed... Watched abit but got bored so we headed to the indoor basketball court for some fun. Played a match or two, i played seriously but my team didn't, if not we could have won but it's okay, just a game. Was really tired after that but we continued playing a forfeit-game. If you know me and my friends well, we always play forfeit-games almost anywhere and everywhere and trust me... You DON'T wanna know how disgusting the forfeits can be! Wanna know one of my disgusting forfeits? I had to lick a guy's chest all the way up to the neck and we were sweating and really sticky at that point of time. Heck, I got it done and over with! Haha, crazy I know... Anyways, we ended up not going for dinner as it was already quite late...
I tried to help, I really did... but to no avail... I'm sorry... The moment was special while it lasted~

Time : 3:35 AM Title : Definitely Maybe  Went out to town today for an exquisite dinner buffet at Holiday Inn Resort's restaurant, Window By The Park. They serve excellent Durian Penyet (Durian Pudding/Custard) for durian enthusiasts as they only use the absolute sweetest durians they can find. I'll list out for you guys what I had for dinner. Bon Apetit! Sushi, fresh Salmon, Bread & Butter and Crackers with freshly sliced cheese for the appetizer, Indian Rojak, Chicken Kebab, Singapore Laksa and Fried Noodles for the main-course with Rendang-Beef, steamed egg and whipped potato salad as the side dishes ended with a mix of different traditional Thailand Kueh (delicacy), mini Fruit Tartlets, Fruit Jelly, Mochi, Chocolate Cake, American Cheesecake, ice-cream, Durian Penyet and Marshmallows dipped into the four-storey Chocolate Fountain as deserts. It was a satisfying meal indeed although I've been to better places but this was alright. 4 out of 5 for me! =) Later went on to watch the 11.30pm movie of Definitely Maybe at Cathay Cineleisure with my cousin and my bro. Guys out there, trust me, it's one of the best excuse for you to bring your gals out for a movie and/or it's the perfect oppurtunity and movie for those going on dates. I give the movie a 5 out of 5 straight on! What can I say? I'm a sucker for moving romance movies! Romantic is the word for it and it teaches girls... Yes, GIRLS!!! A lesson to be learned, it's not ALWAYS the guy's fault...! But guys, please always remember to give in to girls. Are you a gentleman or what!? And you definitely DON'T wanna mess with them and see their ugly side... Anyways, yeah, it's definitely the ideal movie now to catch with that special someone... Wished that special "someone" could've watched it with me~

Time : 11:58 PM Title : FOP Last Day 
Today was the last day of RP's Freshman Orientation Programme (FOP). It was memorable as I SET A NEW SINGAPORE RECORD! Well, not only me but a total of 1320 RP students altogether as we braced ourselves to set the world record for the most number of people doing the leapfrog consecutively. (A leapfrog is whereby one person squats down allowing another person standing behind him/her to put their hands on the shoulders of the one squating down and leap/jump over him from behind.) We've beaten the previous record of 1,197 participants which was set at the Unesco World Youth Festival in Germany in 2007. Officials from the Guinness Book of Records and the Singapore Book of Records were present at the event. It proved to be a challenge in more ways than one. The students began at 5.40pm but were disqualified for touching the ground with their hands and knees. So they were given a second chance and completed it successfully at 6.30pm. In the traditional game of leapfrog, participants need to rest their hands on their knees without touching the ground. And they must do this before bending, so that the other party gets to leap over. The leapfrog record attempt was organised as part of the polytechnic's orientation programme for its freshmen and it was a success! Our record is confirmed in the Singapore Book of Records and we are now awaiting the confirmation verdict from the Guinness Book of World Records. Later on we had the after party and the inter-school cheer competition, School of Infocommunication & Technology (SIT), which I was in won third place in this year's competition. Congratz to us! It was soon time for performances and later on came the clubbing session! It was great fun and I finally threw in the towel as it was my last day as a Student Leader. Had so much fun and many great new friends which I won't forget! Especially my camp mates who stayed with me throughout these entire 2 weeks together. Love you guys! =) Headed for some supper later on at McDonalds before all of us caught the last train home. School's starting in 3 days time! Time flies by so fast when you're having fun...  Went bowling - My score!! ^^
