Title : Arcadia Jubeat RIPPLES Random Challenge 2010

Do you spot ARES? No? Well, as you can see, my name is not in it. Haha! Had to attend work for an even larger than life gaming-event, License 2 Play, at Singapore Expo. Oh well, i missed out on a fun day but nevertheless, I'd still lose even if I did took part in it, haha!! Here are the results:

It'd be De Ja Vu for those who attended the Arcadia 2010 Jubeat Competition last March cause it's the same Top 3 as this competition. Overall, well done players!

It was the last day of License 2 Play today & I'm relieved it's over! Great job guys! We rock! Let's prepare for AsiaSoft GameFest this coming Saturday & Sunday! Be there guys, for a fun-filled day!

Title : Bro's back from Taipei!

Bro's back from his re-service where he spent 2 days in Taipei and had some time off to shop around & look at what he bought! I'm sooo going Taiwan to shop one day!!! I freakin' love their awesome fashion all around! He got for himself a PORTER sling-bag, NICE~! He got for me an EDWIN t-shirt, a japanese jeans brand that you can't find in Singapore! UBER COOLZ~! And I already tried one of each of those treats as soon as i saw them! Hahaha!! Delicious~! He got a Marlboro BLACK MENTHOL for Dad too, cause he likes it a lot & you can't find them in Singapore! Though we still disapprove of him smoking.

Title : Asiasoft's New Angelbear Mascot... ME!

Albert gave me a call around evening to tell me my job-scope for tomorrow. They SABO me! Damn it, hahaha!! For the first time, i'll be one of Asiasoft's walking-mascot! This is what i'll be dressed up as tomorrow at the Asiasoft Game Fest 2010 at Singapore Expo from 11am-9pm, 28-30th May! I'm gonna be Angelbear, the mascot for Monster Forest, one of Asiasoft's Online-Games. Cute little thing! Don't worry, I won't/can't bite! Visit and/or take a picture with me if you like! ^^

Attended Momentum 2010 @ The Republic Cultural Centre's grand-theatre today. Always loved dancing & the arts. Many performances by various dance groups and institutions as well as professional dance schools blew the crowd away today with their spectacular dance moves! Freaking awesome every year! I'm so gonna attend again next year. :D


P.S. Nice to finally be able to talk to you again. Hopefully all your hatred for me has disappeared along with the feelings after finally being able to see the clear picture of what went on behind-the-scenes and that we were actually being played & used for the benefit of... others... Maybe...? Anyways, I didn't know why you/me misunderstood each other & I didn't know what happened at all, as in the actual cause of our . . . , even til now actually, even after knowing that third-parties were involved (you know who), sabotage, backstabbing, lies, rumours as well as peer-pressure & influence by closed ones. But like I said, all I cared about for you was your happiness & nothing else no matter what people think of me as long as it's for you. Stick-ed & true to my words from the beginning til the present. Maybe during those confused days & not knowing what to do, you couldn't see this, but it's never too late to realise this now than never at all, but it's too late to turn back time or wished that things had turned out differently. I didn't even know what was this "reputation" you kept talking about when... Who was the one that walked around in public without a care, with a rose in his hand and brought it to your workplace in front of everybody for the world to see and gave it to you? LOL! Thus, already had no reputation to begin with. Haha! Nah, to me it's just that work is work & i don't like to disturb people when they're working & because by right, we're not supposed to either. Guess we all just had different ways of thinking but we never actually talked about it so no one knows. When we finally did wanna talk about stuff, it was already too late, either that or one doesn't wanna talk to the other, let alone meet-up to see one another anymore. The Twelve Olympians, also known as the Dodekatheon (Greek: Δωδεκάθεον < δώδεκα, dōdeka, "twelve"+ θεοί, theoi, "gods"), in Greek mythology, were the principal gods of the Greek pantheon, residing atop Mount Olympus. The first ancient reference of religious ceremonies for them is found in the Homeric Hymn to Hermes. The classical scheme of the Twelve Olympians (the Canonical Twelve of art and poetry) comprises the following gods: Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Athena, Ares, Demeter, Apollo, Artemis, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Hermes and Dionysus. The respective Roman scheme comprises the following gods: Jupiter, Juno, Neptune, Minerva, Mars, Ceres, Apollo, Diana, Vulcan, Venus, Mercury and Bacchus. Hades (Roman: Pluto) was not generally included in this list. He did not have a seat in the pantheon because he spent almost all of his time in the underworld. Also commonly seen among the twelve is Hestia (Roman: Vesta.) When Dionysus was offered a seat, the total number of Olympians became thirteen. Believing thirteen to be an unlucky number and wishing to avoid a fight, Hestia stepped down.

There was, however, a great deal of fluidity when it came to who was counted among their number in antiquity. Around 400 BC, Herodotus included in his Dodekatheon the following deities: Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Hermes, Athena, Apollo, Alpheus, Cronus, Rhea and the Charites. Wilamowitz agrees with Herodotus' version of the Twelve.

Herodotus includes Heracles as one of the Twelve. Lucian also includes Heracles and Asclepius as members of the Twelve, without explaining which two had to give way for them. At Kos, Heracles and Dionysus are added to the Twelve, and Ares and Hephaestus are left behind. However, Pindar, Apollodorus, and Herodorus disagree with this. For them Heracles is not one of the Twelve Gods, but the one who established their cult.

Plato connected the Twelve Olympians with the twelve months, and proposed that the final month be devoted to rites in honor of Pluto and the spirits of the dead, implying that he considered Hades to be one of the Twelve. Hades is phased out in later groupings due to his chthonic associations. In Phaedrus Plato aligns the Twelve with the Zodiac and would exclude Hestia from their rank.

Hebe, Helios and Persephone are other important gods, goddesses, which are sometimes included in a group of twelve. Eros is often depicted alongside the other twelve, especially his mother Aphrodite, but is rarely considered one of the Olympians.

The Twelve Olympians gained their supremacy in the world of gods after Zeus led his siblings to victory in war with the Titans. Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Demeter, Hestia, and Hades were siblings. Ares, Hermes, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, the Charites, Heracles, Dionysus, Hebe, and Persephone were children of Zeus. Although some versions of the myths state that Hephaestus was born of Hera alone, and that Aphrodite was born of Uranus.

Yet another Jubeat-competition successfully organized & successfully approved by Tornado's higher-management. Relieved that our efforts weren't a waste. Although i'm not paid but being in the Jubeat Committee, i need to handle all these stuff, no choice, for the benefit of all the other Jubeat-ers. And now that our dear self-appointed & self-approved "manager" (whose name isn't even worth mentioning) has quit-ed due to some "personal" reason although he didn't do much in the first place to begin with except for complaining & giving feedback to the higher-management as usual instead of sensibly & logically providing & giving suggestions to aid & solve the situation. I hate quit-ers! Don't join something just to get some high-status that makes you sound special, enjoy the privileges, don't do a single thing & just leave later on because you can't handle it & you leave your other members in a pinch. If you do this, don't you even dare use this small portion of experience as an achievement in the future by saying, "I used to be the what what what of this this this and that that that." cause you're just lying to yourself you boastful bragger that is ALL TALK NO ACTION! Everyone knows you're just an act due to knowing the history of the things you said & did, it's because of that that the people who really knows you don't believe the words you say anymore, not only politically in business-terms, but also in your friendships as well. Ever question yourself why? If you know/think you can't take it and/or won't put in effort for it and see quit-ing halfway if anything happens as a solution that is always available, don't even join in the first place just to put others through misery.

Ever been in a relationship? If you know you can't commit, then don't agree to it in the first place. If you do, see it through to the end & know that there'll always be ups & downs in a relationship & no matter what, you'll always have each other to rely on no matter good or bad & will have to trust each other completely, even with your lives & never doubting one another, in this case, it'd be the other Jubeat Committee members. But if you see "breaking-up", for your case is "quit-ing", as a solution that is available at any time if anything happens, than you're not solving the problem that actually caused the break-up, instead, you're just running away from it. Breaking-up & quit-ing is just nothing more than a form of running away from all the problems you face and in the end, not solving anything, leaving anything & anyone hanging in the middle of nowhere with more questions than answers. Parting ways after a discussion & reaching a mutual understanding however, now that is a different story.

By the way, Beatmania IIDX 17: SIRIUS is now available at Arcadia for only $1.50 instead of the usual $2.00 at TKA Virtualand with e-amuse access. It just was just fixed up today. Well, if you came by earlier, it was only $1.00 per game... Til I alerted the management (Eloise) about it, HAHAHA!! Please forgive me! *runs away & hides* Oh come on, it's only 50cents more & it's still 50cents cheaper than any other arcades in Singapore, you can't argue with that. LOL! They too need to earn, you know? :x

Did some testing for Arcadia for the Olympians' Jubeat machine earphones-service, tweaked around with it the best i could but the sound quality just won't do without a third-party amplifying-unit just like those you see present at TKA Virtualand's Jubeat machines to make up for the technical capabilities a earphone/ear-piece/headphone/headset lacks of when compared to the sound provided by the Jubeat machine's technically higher-end speakers. As for the noise (the zzz-sound), it's still slightly there & no, buying noise-cancellation headphones doesn't help cause it's not what headphones you use that matters, it's the sound-system in the Jubeat machine itself. So don't waste money since you're not like those professional LAN-gamers who really need them. How'd i know? That's because I'm not your average-gamer. Cause the gaming industry is my profession. Been in it long enough & done far too many events to not not know all these stuff based on the many different experiences. Not bragging or anything but yeah, i have a track-record if you'd like to see it. I don't go around claiming credit for stuff I haven't done before unlike some people. Anyways, gaming in Singapore isn't really big as compared to other countries, sadly.


P.S. Most importantly, it's the people you met while playing the games you enjoy most, cause there's nothing to enjoy when you can't share the happiness with anyone but yourself. And i met you, who was truly an angel in disguise. :]
