Title : Azan's Wedding

I'm back from cousin's wedding!! It's finally came to an end after 2 days. On the first day which is the day before yesterday, 7th June 08, in traditional malay weddings, the male side will go over to the female side first, followed by the next day being vice-versa. The first day was full of preparations and setting up. Carried and placed a few things here and there and later escorted the groom to the bride's house. The feast they threw and the atmosphere that befall us as we stepped into their wedding hall was astounding. You'll just have to let the pictures do the talking.

On the second day which is yesterday, 8th June 08, had to be at my cousin's house, the groom's side, by 10am but we only went over to the bride's side at 1pm... Took lots of pictures today. Singapore footballer Baihakki Khaizan, who is my second cousin (cousin's cousin) couldn't turn up as he's away in another country but his family came in his place together with his fiance, Nofasari, who is an actress on channel Suria. She was spotted straight away by many when we arrived over at the bride's side and was invited to sing a song dedicated to the newly-weds. She did it hesitantly and said "there's no rehearsal for this!" jokingly and sang with a beautiful voice. We ate and returned back to the groom's side together with the bride this time. A traditional malay ceremony took place as we were leaving called the "Kuda Kepang" and "Silat". This is a traditional malay culture ceremony that is believed to chase away evil spirits from the newly weds.

The day went on with me snapping more and more pictures! A total of 121 pictures in all! Not missing a single moment of the wedding! No one in my family takes better pictures than me! Haha. Being the one taking them means I rarely appear in them. Well, that's the sacifice I have to do in order to carry on my photo-taking hobby! Haha! Altogether, the newly weds had 4 different types of wedding suits to change and wear, it must have been really tiring during their photoshoot for them. I'm sure my estimate and rumours of the wedding's total cost is around $22 000. whistle* A grand wedding indeed! Anyways, once again, congrats to newly-weds Azan & Salwati! Wish you guys everlasting happiness!!! =)
