The turn-out??? 13 classmates and 1 teacher and of course I remember each and every one of them!! ^^ Although some can't make it, my very great teacher Ms Pang did!!! Wootz!!! Great to see her again and thanks for the A for my English, B for my Math and B for Science in PSLE!!! (got a B for Mother Tongue too) Remember once in primary 6 when i smsed to kidscentral a teacher's day wish for you and it got selected as one of the best few and got posted on television and I won myself a prize??? LoL! It was uber-awesome meeting up again with my fellow peeps whom we always meet up on teacher's day without fail each year just to visit Ms Pang and each other!! ^^ The buffet was awesome, the chitter-chatter was great, lots to talk about and catching up on old times was splendid!! After the buffet, Ms Pang had to leave as she had a 10pm movie, The Last Caution, to attend at Cathay Cineleisure, me and my friends went to the arcade, played a few games and... Well... Yeah... Took Neoprints, hahaha!!! Headed down to CCK MRT station and our neighbourhood since young haha, met up with Xue Qi there who couldn't make it for the dinner as she ended class late, everyone's grown much more prettier, handsome and matured but are still civilised as ever, that's the best part. One of the most caring and kind bunch of friends I know. =) Walked arounf the neighbourhood to chit-chat for a while, wanted to buy some drinks but god bless us all that we're still under-age at 17, one more year to go and NO I don't drink, hahaha!! It was 12am and we decided to return home and so the say ended with parting and farewells... NOT!!! We already started planning to play pool together this coming Saturday, if confirmed, tell me guys so that I can bring my cue stick along. Let the pix do the talking, see ya guys!!! ^_^ Our dearest 6F form teacher ---> Ms Pang Okay... These guys haven't change have they... The Ladies Photography courtesy of: Haziq Sorry to my current classmate Justin whose concert performance was also on the same day today at the same timing and I could not attend as I've already promised to turn up for the class gathering ages ago. Heard from others you did great though, congratz!! =)

Time : 11:40 PM Title : RPresenting to Da Fullest and Butts Off! Dance Competition Today was WICKED!!! Went to 2 hip-hop dance competitions in one day!!! yes, TWO!!! Firstly in the morning between 2.00pm-4.30pm, met and my friends attended the RPresenting to DA Fullest hip-hop Dance Competition held at Republic Poly's Dance Studio. This competition was open to all to join so there's no age limitations whatsoever. The cost of the ticket was $6, asked one of my friends, Edith, to get one for me. It was free seating anyways so me and 3 of my friends, Edith, Emily & Faiz went to seat at the third row from the front in the middle and we got a pretty good view of the whole thing. Tearing up the floor were 10 groups of competitors and there was a guest performance by a beepboxer, some rappers and RP's very own veteran crew of year one dancers, one of them is my friend Ahmad who is one of the best b-boyer in the whole campus! Back to the competitors, a familiar face in one of the participating groups was sighted. Kimberly, the girl who won Kids Central's One Minute of Fame 2006 took part with her own crew of young dancers of her age, calling themselves the Little Freakyz (Freakies). Believe or not, her group was crowned the champion of the competition!!! Beating competitors who were older and much more experienced than them from secondary schools polytechnics and Junior Colleges!!! I tell you this, they deserved the win as they put up a spectacular performance, footwork, steps, choreography, you name it!!! The audience was at their loudest when these guys came out to flaunt their moves and bringing down the house!!! Here's the results of the crews that won: 1st: Little Freakyz (Freakies) 2nd: Freaky Nutz 3rd: UTG Right when the show ended at 4.30pm, me, my friends, the competitors and so did 90% of the people present there, rushed off to another Hip-Hop Dance Competition being held at Far East Plaza starting at 6.00pm, the Hip-Hop Weekend Butts Off Competition!!! Parted with Edith and Emily but met and joined a new group of friends who were Faiz's friends. We were there to support one of RP's best crew, Style Groovas, who were participating as they qualified from the preliminaries last week. One of its member, Dinie, is a buddy of mine too! Reached there just on time and boy was the place packed to the fullest!! Other participating crews included National Junior College (NJC) and National University of Singapore (NUS). Style Groovas turn up the heat and mesmerized the audience and judges with their slick and cool moves in sync with the blasting music!! Right before the results show, there were dance-offs between a representative of each crew to see who was the best dancer, going one after the other, showing off their freestyle moves and grooving to the rhythm! Well, RP's Style Groovas didn't managed to win that section of the competition but put up a strong fight. Yeah! There was also a spot the best dancer in the crowd section and this guy and this small little girl were asked to battle it off on stage as they stood out the best. However, soon while battling, a few entries from out of nowhere jumped on stage and joined the battle, provoking them at the same time!!! I tell ya, it was DOPE!!! The challengers who suddenly dared to go against them on stage in front of a HUGE audience included one of Style Groovas' dancers, my friend Ahmad and Kimberly the One Minute Of Fame winner. I tell ya this wasn't rehearsed and boy was it a royal rumble on stage of around 6 people battling it out, all for a goodie bag! Hahaha!! Nah, just bet they wanted to show their moves and not care about the prizes, that's all! Soon, it was the results show and we were praying hard as the results were announced but to no avail, RP's Style Groovas won the consolation prize, what a shame as they were definitely better than the winners who comprised of some secondary school, NUS and the first place winner, the crew which call themselves 5,6,7,8. Met the crew and my pal backstage after the competition and gave my well wishes to Dinie. It's alright!!! Keep it up Style Groovas!!! The win for the next competition is ours for the taking!!! Definitely!!! ~The competition ended at 8.00pm. Met a couple of great new friends today and we had lots of fun and enjoyed ourselves very much! Ate dinner, chatted a bit and did a little shopping after that and went home. Damn, it was a hell of a day!!! In a good way I mean, haha. Been a long time since I enjoyed myself this much, being busy with events and all. Damn shag and now, I feel like dancing!!! Yeah!!! See ya!! |
