Title : Archery Camp Day 2

Just got back from Archer Camp... Super shag... Gonna crash on y bed anytime soon. Anyways, how was my camp you ask? It was great! Had lots of fun in a very long time.



Day 1
It started out with the usual ice-breaking sesion on Day 1, we splitted into 2 teams of 11 each. My team interacted with each othr quite fast and we soon knew each other pretty well. Played the usual interactive games to improve our bonds with each other. It was fun.



Later we had a briefing at the lecture theatre, there's 10 basic steps to follow in Archery. Know this well and you're well on the way to becoming a top-notch archer. We got to know of the different bows used, the designs and unique features of each bow and different arrows that are available. Some were gonna fall asleep in the middle of the presentation, haha but luckily it was a short one. Later watched a movie, Jackass 1, but left halfway as it was time to shoot. Headed to the shooting range to shoot a couple of arrows. A lot of mistakes were made by everyone and there were lots of room for improvement.

Had dinner later at 6pm and were given our own time til the end of the day to do watever we wanted. Me and the guys decided to take a shower first after dinner. Later laid out our sleeping bags and marked our territory. We played lots of card games and performed lots of magic tricks for the enjoyment of the rest. It's fun to fool others once in a while, haha. The seniors dOtA til 4am and then slept. Some were very skilled. Me slept at 5am...

Title : Shrek 3

Being king isn't for everyone--especially if you're a prickly ogre who smells like the shallow end of a swamp. When Shrek married Fiona, the last thing he wanted was to rule Far Far Away, but when his frogger-in-law, King Harold, suddenly croaks, Shrek is quickly fitted for the crown. Now, unless the reluctant would-be king can find a suitable replacement, he'll be royally screwed for the rest of his days. As if Shrek didn't have enough on his plate, Princess Fiona has another little surprise on the way. With his head spinning and his belly in knots, Shrek sets off on a quest to find the only other possible heir to the throne, Fiona's long-lost cousin Artie, an underachieving medieval high schooler. While the ogre is away, his old nemesis Prince Charming rears his handsome head and returns to the kingdom of Far Far Away with redemption on his shallow little mind. Even with Donkey and the ever-so-suave Puss in Boots by their side, it's going to take an ogre-sized effort--and a whole lot of help from Fiona and her band of princesses--for Shrek and Artie to save the day and find their own "Happily Ever After."

Went to the hair salon at town today, Jiwon Hair Stylist, a Korean salon at Wheelock's Place. Usually, a cut, wash & styling would cost $28 but since for students, they have student's cut which is only $20. Not only that, if you wanna get your hair done there, you gotta have to ring them for an appointment first, please take note. I got the director of the salon, Julie, a Korean to cut for me. She's great although her English's not that good. I always get her to cut & style my hair. Later, met my family and while my mum and dad went shopping, I accompanied my lil sis to watch Shrek 3. It was fun and I give it a 3 out of 5. Met up again and went window shopping later. Returned home in the evening.

Title : Kranji SYF Showcase 2007

Class was rocky today as there were lots of problems going on. Met up and chat with an old friend during the second break-out of class. Been a long time since I met her. Chat for like an hour with each other before heading back to class and she heading back to her rehearsals. Kranji Secondary School was having an SYF (Singapore Youth Festival) Showcase at RP's (Republic Polytechnic) auditorium. I decided to go as I had nothing on after school as well as to support my friend. The ticket was 8 bucks. I don't mind. Haha. It started at 7.30pm and ended at 9.30pm. It was mostly a demonstration of their school's Performing Arts Groups' talents. Their choir, band, drama and dance pieces were splendid. There were also 2 piano solos later on. I forgot to return the Feedback Form and just threw it away. Haha. Kranji put up a magnificent show that night, what they lacked was a grand finale. Haha. Nevertheless, it was fabulous. A spectacular performance indeed.

You did great out there, i'm sure you'll get even better than you are right now but it was your last and final performance. Now concentrate on your coming "O"s alright and strive for the 10 points that you always wanted and thanks for making my day. =)
